With information on your city’s priorities and energy usage, you can now develop a proposed goal or set of goals for your city.
Once you have identified the goals that seem most appropriate, consider the best process to have your proposal approved. A useful starting point may be to explore comparable efforts or commitments the city has made in the past and model your efforts on those past experiences. You may want to identify who was involved, what documentation or presentation format was used, how long the approval process took, what background and rationale was used, and how the final approval was obtained.
